Fisherman’s Bastion
This 100x70cm oil pastel painting on watercolor paper, is of The Halászbástya or Fisherman's Bastion. It is one of the best known monuments in Budapest, located near the Buda Castle, in the 1st district of Budapest. I embarked on a journey to create an unparalleled style, one that would pour out my adoration for the beautiful city of Budapest, through an exquisite blend of striking hues, lively rhythms and raw, emotional power. I employed impressionistic strokes, to captivate the viewer's gaze with a mesmerizing interplay of texture and movement. My work is a celebration of the vibrant energy of the castle and a testament to my deep and abiding love for Budapest. Through my art, I have captured the very essence of the city and have created a window through which we can all experience the beauty and wonder of this beloved place.
